The perversity of psuedo random numbers
May. 8th, 2007 02:03 pmAbout half an hour ago, iTunes played a recording of "Fanfare for the Common Man" -- from a recording by The Summit Brass. Just now, a different recording -- this one by Emerson, Lake and Palmer -- of the same song just started.
Of course if the random number generator used to shuffle songs was more perverse, this would happen more often. I would also have actually heard something like "Piano Man" fallowed by "Keanu Man" or "Mister Roboto" followed by "Bender Roboto."
